I just recently moved to a new apartment and am having some serious issues with my plants since the move. The light is not ideal for most of my plants, but I open the curtains and make it so they get as much light as possible. It is also pretty dry here and I have been using a cool-mist humidifier. Despite my efforts, my dracaena and my wandering jew are not doing so well.
I ran my plantsmart EasyBloom monitor on the wandering jew and it said that it didn't get enough light, but that's a never-ending problem here in the Northeast during the Winter. The days are now getting longer and we've had more sun so that won't be a problem for much longer.
I just used a water test strip from my fish tank supplies and found that we have "very hard water". Could that be the cause of my plants' poor health? My pothos, snake plant, and purified-watered spider plant are doing fine and are in the same rooms as the ones with the poor health and get watered with the same pitcher.
Thanks for any advice you can give me!
